  • Minimum of 3 entries per class or class will be dropped
  • DOT Tire classes determined by the size of the tire as listed on the sidewall.

SAFETY AND VEHICLE RULES

1. Entry fee of $20.00 per class /per vehicle. Only 1 entry per person and vehicle  per class. Except for open classes, which vehicle may register more than once in open class but can only win one place. Vehicles must pass tech inspection before they can register. No pre-registering allowed. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS! ABSOLUTEY NO REFUNDS!

2. Absolutely no alcohol in the pits. If a driver or co-driver wish drink after their class is complete they will not be allowed back into the pits until the event is completed. Drivers or co-drives that drink before they are done racing will be disqualified from their class. Their money will not be refunded and forfeit any prize money that they could have received! The next racer in the standings will receive it. PIT AREAS ARE POLICED.

3. Seat belts must be worn in all vehicles, throw or release type in all open vehicles. Helmets must be worn at all times!

4. Roll bars in all open and soft-top vehicles must extend outside the driver’s body, be attached to the frame and must meet inspector’s approval.

5. ALL vehicles must have: Firewall between engine and driver, clevis or large hook-up, NO CHAINS! , good working brakes, 2 drive shaft loops per drive shaft ( one at each end of the drive shaft ) fire extinguisher  Tech Inspectors discretion

6. All vehicles must pass tech inspections. If you choose to argue with the tech inspectors about the rules, you CAN be asked to leave, and we do not have to refund your ticket money.

7. Any acceptations to any rules will be made by Race Officials only!

8. DRIVE SLOW IN PIT AREA! NO HOT RODDING! Or you will be asked to leave. No refunds will be given.

9. Batteries must be securely fastened down. Covers required on vehicles with battery in cab. NO GAS TANK IN CAB!!! Aftermarket fuel cells or stock tanks are fine, but must be securely fastened and pass tech inspectors approval. Gas tanks or fuel cell’s in Blazers, Broncos, Ram Chargers, etc, without a divider between cab and back, must have a metal box / metal cover or metal shield between driver and fuel cell or gas tank.

10. Any vehicle, equipped with a trans brake, blower, nitrous, or supercharger  must have a trans blanket or scatter shield. No matter if it is used or not. Trans brake is only allowed in Open and Modified class’s.

11. Fuel requirements: pump gas, race gas, propane and diesel fuel, are the only fuels to be used in Street Stock or any Pro Street class. All fuel types can be used in any Open or Modified class, provided everyone in the vehicle has a fire suite when a fuel other than race gas, propane or diesel fuel is used.

12. All drivers must be 18 or older, or 16 with a valid drivers license and parent or guardian to sign for them. ID will be checked.

13. Pro Street’s : must have 4,6, 8 or 10 cylinder engine in stock location and must have been available in their make of chassis. Aluminum intakes, carburetors other that stock and headers are OK. Body must retain stock appearance, fiberglass reproduction bodies are OK. Pickups may remove box. Any axle swap is allowed EXCEPT ROCKWELL or MILITARY AXLES. Axles must be in factory locations with factory suspension configuration, NO 4 LINK SUSPENSIONS! Vehicles must pull minimum 15 in/hg. Vacuum at 1000 RPM or will have to run in open / modified only.

14. Open and Woman’s open : Nitrous, aftermarket blowers, turbo’s and Paddle, cut, tractor and DOT tires allowed. All vehicles with Blower, Super Charger, Turbo, or Trans Brake will be required to have a Scatter Shield or a Trans blanket. Nitrous equipped vehicles must have a fire suit for any one in the vehicle. All fuels allowed.

15. Modified:   DOT tires allowed. Cut Dot tires allowed. No paddle tires. No nitrous. No vacuum rules, naturally aspirated, carbureted or fuel injected only. No buggies / rails. Vehicles must resemble a truck. All fuels allowed.

16. Modified and Open classes open to all racers, provided there vehicle meets the requirements.

17. Street Stock :, vehicles can have up to 3 modifications. Headers, aftermarket intake manifolds, or aftermarket carburetors or engine swap. Vehicles can be lifted, but must retain stock suspension configuration. Vehicles must have a 4” clevis or larger. Tech inspector discretion. 35 inch maximum tire size. Must pull 20” of vacuum @ 1,000 rpm. Must have exhaust that exits behind the driver with mufflers. No open headers. Must have 4,6, 8 or 10 cylinder engine in stock location and must have been available in their make of chassis. Turbo Diesel trucks allowed to run street stock class. No aftermarket Turbo’s or Power Programmers. Drive shaft loops are not required for this class.

18. Anyone who does not take the cable, and gets stuck will be disqualified, and will have to drag the cable themselves. We are not responsible for bringing the cable to you since you have declined that option. If you do not stop at the end of the pit and drag the cable out of the pit for any other reason aside from a mechanical failure, you will be disqualified.

19. Random vacuum checks may be done in the staging area before the start of a class.

20.  Gutted vehicles will be required to have at least a single hoop if not full roll cage made of approved tubing. Roll cage must be tied into frame. tech inspectors approval.

21.  Neutral safety switch will be required, and checked. A micro switch on shifter can be used in place of OEM or after market neutral safety switch.

22.  NO Tractor Tires in Modified Class.

23.  Contest Rule.   You may contest that a vehicle meets the requirements of a specific class ( example vacuum, tire size, or nitrous).   The cost if $50. If the contested vehicle is found to not be within the rules for the class the person that put up the money will get it back and vehicle will be disqualified of all classes that broken  rules apply.  If the contested vehicle is found to be within rules the contested vehicle keeps the money.    The money must be presented to a staging or starting official during the class that is contested and the person that is contesting a vehicle will witness the inspection of the vehicle.  The test will conducted as soon as the money is presented. Tech inspectors will do the inspection.

 

 

Pit Rules

 

1 Any driver observed driving recklessly anywhere other than designated areas will be disqualified from the event.

2 Drivers and Vehicles must be in the staging area when their class is called.

3 Driver must stay with vehicle when waiting for your turn to run.

4 Driver  has 3 minuites to get to the vehicle to the starting line when vehicle is called.

After 3 minuites vehicle will be disqualified. No sandbagging to get to staging to get a later run in the class.  If you are having trouble or need help let someone know ,someone will help you.  If your vehicle is broken and done for day let staging know that vehicle is a scratch for the rest of the day.

5 If a vehicle stalls at the staring line, the driver has 2 minutes to get vehicle restarted or will be disqualified.

6 Vehicle must stay between the marked boundaries of the pit during their run or receive a distance at the point where they first went out of bounds.

7  The first vehicle of the day to attempt the pit in open class only  will have a chance to come back and try again as the forth run of the class one.   If driver does not like their first pass tell the track officials and come back to staging.  If driver elects to take a second run they will get the time/ distance from the second run and scratch the first run time/distance.

8  Driver will be directed from staging to the starting line area, Driver must have seat belt and helmet on at this point. Near the starting line you will be asked if you want to take the pullout cable.  If you take the pullout cable, you must stop at once you exit the pit to have cable unhooked.  If you do not stop to unhook cable you will be disqualified.  Place vehicle in park or neutral and put your hands In the air to signal it is safe for person to hook or unhook cable.  Do not proceed until directed to.

9  If you elect to not take the pullout cable and get stuck without breaking the timing lights, Vehicle will be disqualified from that class and Driver will have to pull the cable to the truck themselves.  If vehicle gets stuck after vehicle has tripped the finish line timing light run is a good run and will get a time. 

10 The starting line person will direct driver to the starting line.  Starting line person will tell you when you are in the correct position.  Starting position is about 1 foot back from the starting line timing light.  The starting line person will tell driver it is ok to go . Driver may go at any time.  Vehicle time does not start until vehicle moves one foot into the pit and break the starting light beam. 

11 During the run , vehicle is considered stuck when forward motion stops for 3 seconds,  Flagman will flag driver to stop after 3 seconds with no forward motion, Once driver is flagged you must stop or will be disqualified

12 If vehicle becomes stuck and needs pulled out, place vehicle in neutral and wait to be pulled out.  No backing up. Driver must keep helmet and seat belt during pull out.  If driver removed helmet or seatbelt during pullout, run will be disqualified.

13  Please go slow after exiting mud  pit.  , No Hot Roding out the exit road of the mud pit.  Excess Hot Roding will result  in disqualification. 

14  Please go slow in parking and pit area watch out for other truck, people, kids and pets.

10  All decisions made by track officials are final.

11 Passengers only allowed at Chippewa County Fair.

12 Drivers are Responable for knowing all the rules as stated above.

13 Payouts are 100% per class.  Classes with less than 10 trucks pay 3 places.  Classes for more than 10 trucks pay 5 places.

14 Payouts and prizes will be passed out only after the event is over and all the equipment is picked up.  If you have to leave early  we will get your prize money to you.
